Here’s the first teaser trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s stop-motion musical update to Carlo Collodi’s classic tale “Pinocchio.” The voice cast for Pinocchio includes Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, Tilda Swinton, Christoph Waltz, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, and introducing Gregory Mann as Pinocchio. The film will be available to steam on Netflix in December, 2022.

The novel tells the story of Charlie Reade, a 17-year-old boy who inherits keys to a parallel world where good and evil are at war. Fairy Tale will be available everywhere you get books on September 6th.
OUT Maine Donors Send 900 Books to Maine School Libraries
OUT Maine, an organization that serves LGBTQ+ youth in Maine, has created the Read the Rainbow campaign, which aims to increase visibility of LGBTQ+ people and celebrate diversity within the community. Donated book sets are based on age-appropriate reading levels: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. “These past two months, I had multiple middle-grade students ask for books with queer characters/storylines,” said Taylor Leach, the Library Media Specialist at Vinalhaven School. “Between the resources provided on their website and the Read the Rainbow Program, OUT Maine has allowed me to provide what our students want and need and meet these requests from our students.” So far, the program has donated over 900 books.
