Greta Thunberg has tweeted the cover of her upcoming book The Climate Book. “The Warming Stripes graphic by @ed_hawkins on the cover shows the dramatic heating of the planet in recent decades,” Thunberg wrote. “The book contains essays from over 100 leading experts and voices.” This one’s out in October.
Diverse Books has an excerpt and cover reveal of the upcoming YA novel There Goes the Neighborhood by Jade Adia. The book will be released on March 7, 2023 by Disney-Hyperion.
In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, writer Si Spurrier teases what’s coming for David Haller in the new series Legion of X.
Rachel Zegler of West Side Story has been cast as the female lead Lucy Gray Baird in Lionsgate’s adaptation of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

Mariner Books has won North American rights to Emily Layden’s Once More from the Top. The novel, which is being pitched as “Gillian Flynn meets Daisy Jones and the Six, is scheduled for a 2024 release.
Leslie Mann and Tim Robbins have left the Amazon adaptation of The Power. Both roles will be recast.
R.L. Stine is releasing new horror stories for kids and teens this summer.
Akwaeke Emezi has announced that they are taking a break from writing, “to execute other worlds outside of books, and although I’ll return to books, I’ll be a different beast when I do.”

Generally speaking, I feel like I read a fair amount of young adult literature. But looking at my stats for the year so far—thanks to our very own Tirzah Price’s awesome reading log—I’ve noticed I haven’t read nearly as much YA this year as I normally do. So, yes, on a personal note, that realization has made me feel especially hungry for new YA books this summer, and Blood and Moonlight is right at the top of my TBR list. Blood and Moonlight is set in the medieval city of Collis, where Catrin lives as a spire watching over the city from the holy Sanctum. Catrin is an orphan girl with unique skills. Only she can spot the building’s construction flaws before they turn deadly. But that’s not all Catrin witnesses in her tower above the city. When Catrin witnesses a murderer running away from the scene of the crime, she suddenly finds herself in danger’s way, as she is the only witness to a murderer who is sure to strike again.
Then there’s Simon, the brilliant and enigmatic man who has been assigned to capture the killer. His insights into the mind of a murderer are frighteningly accurate. Soon, Catrin finds herself caught between murderer and detective while still trying to hide her own supernatural secret: her powers gifted to her by the moon. What I’m Watching This Weekend
It’s been a while since I chatted with you all about what I’ve been watching, mostly because I’ve been so busy settling in with the new cat and getting ready for a big cross-country move. But I am watching some things this weekend. As an avid Ewan McGregor fan (my favorite movie of all time is Moulin Rouge), I’m so excited that the Obi Wan Kenobi show has finally dropped on Disney+, so I plan to catch up on that this weekend.
I’ve avoided spoilers up until this point, so I’m excited to dive in with zero expectations (aside from, you know, continuing to love everything Ewan McGregor does).

Remy is really making himself right at home!
I have to share with everyone that tonight, Murray lovingly bathed Remy for the first time. I tried to be cool about it because I didn’t want the cats to think it was that big of a deal, but inside I was throwing a huge party. I really, really want these cats to become buds.
